Sunstone is a feldspar. This stone can have flashes of glitter known as aventurescence.
Sunstone gets confused a lot with peach moonstone. Although they are both in the feldspar family, sunstone is a deeper orange color than peach moonstone. Moonstone has more of a shine or (moonshine) to it while sunstone has more of glitter of flashes.
