When they took some of the beads off their cording; one side of the bead hole may have some chipping of the coating. The vintage beads are new, old stock that had been sitting in a warehouse and now brought to you. They have been out of circulation for decades which can cause dirt or dust to accumulate on them and might need to be wiped or washed clean.
